Chainsaw Tommy finishes well

A BUMPER crowd tookadvantage of perfect weatherto enjoy a great night of greyhound racing at the Colemans Point track in Lismore on Tuesday.

The feature event, the Koori Mail Novice (635m), was won in great style by the Reg Gardoll-trained Chainsaw Tommy.

Chainsaw Tommy (2-1 favourite) finished strongly to beat 20-1 chance Addsun, which looked to have the race won 100 metres from the finish.

The time was 37.97s.

Chainsaw Tommy collected $2500 for the win and it was a delighted owner Doug Ryan and family at the presentation.

Northern United Rugby League Club members held a successful fund-raiser at the meeting.
