Fatal collision at Ballina

 

POLICE will prepare a report for the Coroner following a fatal pedestrian crash at Ballina on Saturday.

About 6pm there was a collision between a Holden Rodeo utility and a female pedestrian.

The 39-year-old woman, from Ballina, suffered multiple injuries and was taken to Lismore Base Hospital where she died this morning.

The 26-year-old female driver of the car was taken to Ballina Hospital for routine tests but was uninjured.
