HERE IS a chance for Queenslanders to get their paws on two of the most famous vets in the country during this year's Dog Lovers Show.
Vets Chris Brown and Katrina Warren have confirmed they will be on deck at the November 4 and 5 event at the Brisbane Showground.
They will star on the celebrity pet stage along with renowned Hollywood animal trainer Peta Clarke, who will entertain the crowd with her pooches.
The talented canines from Australian Working Dog Rescue International will also help educate and entertain.
Dog Lovers Show has grown to become one of the largest events in the world dedicated to dogs and their owners.
The inaugural Brisbane show will present 500-plus beautiful dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds, about 150 exhibitors, 30-plus rescue groups and more than 40 breed clubs.
Organisers are expecting more than 10,000 dog lovers to attend.
The rescue dog zone will give visitors an opportunity to meet and interact with a number of rescue groups and shelters from throughout Queensland.
Event-goers can also meet some of the pooches looking for a home.
Australian military working dogs of the past 100 years will also be acknowledged, and Australian War Animal Memorial Organisation president Nigel Allsopp will present seminars about the history of our four-legged diggers.
Visitors can buy purple poppies to commemorate the service of war animals. All funds are donated to Military Working Dogs and their handlers to assist with treating post-traumatic stress.
There will even be an insta-pooch zone where visitors can snap selfies and meet some of Queensland's most famous canine Instagram stars.
And prospective dog owners who are not sure which dog will best suit them can visit the perfect match zone.
