Fair Trading Minister hits town

NSW Fair Trading Minister Anthony Roberts is in Lismore today as part of a week-long series of events organised by his department’s Lismore office.

As part of his first visit to Lismore as Minister, Mr Roberts has today met with students learning about buying their first car, visited Lismore Nissan, Lismore Automotive Service, and Lismore Neighbourhood Centre, and launched an information on tenancy rights for real estate agents at Lismore City Hall.

He is winding up the whirlwind visit this afternoon by stopping in at Lismore’s Fair Trading Centre.

The visit, with Lismore MP Thomas George, comes as part of a full week of activities and events as part of the Regional Access Program organised by Lismore Fair Trading community liaison officer Meg Smith.

Still to come in this week’s program are seminars tonight for motor dealers and repairers, and tomorrow on retail tenancy rights, strata schemes, and home building.
