Exuro 2016

On Tuesday this week, four Year 5 students and Year 5 teacher, Miss Kelli Ann Bugden from St Brigid’s Primary School Kyogle, joined other Catholic Primary School students from across the Region, at the Exuro Retreat Day, held in the Tullera Hall.
The Retreat was a fantastic opportunity to bring students together with like-minded peers, to share and build relationships that strengthen the practice of their Christian faith and to be leaders in building a strong Catholic school community back at St Brigid’s.
Activities during the day included workshops in small and large groups plus the students shared a Liturgy together as well.
Year 5 student, Oliver Rixon, ‘We participated in lots of activities which made us stop and think about our faith and where Jesus is in our lives. We watched videos and reflected on the challenges of being Christian in today’s world. The message I got was that we need to show love to others – helping can be contagious – just because we are young doesn’t mean we can’t make a difference in the world.”
