Evil stepdad from hell forced girl, 8, to trade sex for food

A STEPFATHER from hell raped his stepdaughters, impregnating one and telling another her genitalia belonged to him, in one of the most shocking cases of incest in Victoria.

The sex monster - who cannot be named to protect the identity of his traumatised victims - would refuse food to one girl, aged just 8, if she did not co-operate with his sexual demands.

And when she complied, he would allow her to eat as a reward.

He even threatened to kill her family if she ever told anyone.

When the relationship with his young victim's mother ended, he quickly met a new partner and preyed on her teenage daughter, who later gave birth to his child when she was just 16.

The Herald Sun can reveal the horrific details of the depraved case as County Court judge Paul Higham this month jailed the sexual deviant for 18 years.

"You are a sustained, persistent, sexual predator and violator of children," Judge Higham said.

"To teach a child of such tender years that her body is to be sold, to be bartered for food is an act of true depravity.

"You had one face for your partner, and another completely different face for your victims.

"You are a danger to women and their female children, and the community needs protection from you."

The court heard the evil predator - a man in his 40s who was born in country Victoria but had moved between states throughout his life - had been jailed for six months in the early 1990s for indecently touching his four-year-old niece.

He has pleaded guilty to six counts each of incest and an indecent act with a child, and one count of common assault.

"Each of the incest charges could be viewed, and I find, as instances of violent rape," Judge Higham said.

"You used force and violence against both of your victims in order to satisfy your lust."

The stepfather would prey on the girls when they were left in his care while their mothers were at work.

Judge Higham said his eight-year-old victim was "thrown around like a rag doll", repeatedly forced to perform oral sex, and dragged by her feet into her mother's bed and sexually assaulted.

On one occasion when he was driving back from dropping his three biological children at their mother's, he ordered his young victim to climb over into the front seat and "play with it".

When she didn't, he beat her, punching her to the face when they got home.

It wouldn't be until years later, as a teenager, she would tell her mother what happened.

His abuse was reported to police in July 2016, just months after his second victim gave birth to his child.

He had been married to his second victim's mother for about six years but they separated before the second victim's child was born.

When interviewed by police he denied the allegations saying he was "not into kids".

He said it would have to be a "complete fluke" or "by some impossible means of secondary transmission" for the baby of second victim to be his.

When he was charged and bailed by police, he fled to New South Wales, changing his name, appearance and mobile number. He even closed his bank accounts.

In victim impact statements read out in court, his second victim said the offending "has changed and turned my whole life upside down".

She said her childhood had been ripped from her and she is left "never feeling good enough".

She lives in fear of the day she has to tell her daughter the true identity of her father and why he is not in her life.

Her mother also revealed her anguish of being the person who brought him into her family.

"The accused destroyed that strong, confident, active girl that I used to know," she said.

The stepfather will be eligible for parole after serving 14 years, but will be supervised on the sex offenders register for life.
