Evans Head watery landscape tops Photo of the Day poll

>> VOTE FOR TOMORROW'S PHOTO OF THE DAY

Chinaman's Beach, Evans Head.
Chinaman's Beach, Evans Head. Chris Hosie

WE had a fantastic selection of landscapes to choose from for Photo of the Day and it was Chris Hosie's remarkable image of swirling water at Evans Head that won the vote.

Chris's image, taken at Chinamans Beach, took out 46% of the vote with the remainder splitting relatively evenly between images by Di Lymbury and Leanne Loz Albert.

Photo of the Day celebrates the beauty of the Northern Rivers and the talent of the region's photographers.

As well as appearing here, the Photo of the Day is also published on Page 2 of our print edition and appears as the cover image on our Facebook page.

To submit an image for Photo of the Day, share it to our Facebook page.

WE have seven amazing images and two Photo of the Day slots to fill - tomorrow and Monday. As usual, because we're selecting images, everyone gets two votes each. Given the choices on offer, I'm sure you'll agree that's for the best.

Voting closes at noon.
