Featured in the concert was the music of Emmanuel Chabrier, Sergei Rachmaninov and Joaquín Rodrigo´s Concierto de Aranjuez by guest artist Cañizares, one of the best-known international figures on the flamenco guitar and contemporary Spanish music scene, whose playing technique shows a stunning combination of brilliance and sensitivity. Cañizares has collaborated with international musicians including Enrique Morente, Camaróan de la Isla, Serrat, Mauricio Sotelo, Peter Gabriel, Michael Brecker, Al Di Meola and The Chieftains.
