Eels wary of their former playmaker

PARRAMATTA will be on Kieran Foran watch tonight when the Eels host his Warriors at ANZ Stadium.

Foran, who walked out on the Eels last year just months into a four-year deal, was the match-winner when the two teams met in Auckland in round six.

The halfback set up two tries in his second game back after a suspension and shoulder injury.

"He played really well last time we played them and he was probably the difference in the game," Parramatta coach Brad Arthur said.

"We need to make sure we're good at our defence on the right-hand side."

Arthur, meanwhile, said the Eels' new No.7, Mitchell Moses, was progressing well. He had a hand in two tries in the win over Souths last week.

"There's going to be natural progression on improvement with him in the team, and our players getting used to how he plays," Arthur said.
