Dumped Tallows surfer rushed to Byron Bay hospital
A SURFER who was dumped at Tallows Beach this morning has been taken to hospital.
A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said paramedics were called to Beachcomber Dr at Byron Bay at 8.18am after reports the 25-year-old man was in a semi-conscious state.
When police and paramedics arrived and made their way onto the beach they were told the man had been submerged for some time.
"The man was treated for post-submersion issues including vomiting," the spokeswoman said.
He was taken by ambulance to Byron Bay hospital in a stable condition.
