Driver rammed car that had two-year-old child in it

A 20-year-old man is in custody after pursuing and ramming another car twice in Casino.

Senior Constable David Henderson said police allege that at 12pm on Tuesday the 20-year-old and three passengers - one being a two year old child - were chasing another car after a dispute earlier in the day.

This car also contained a two-year-old child.

The 20-year-old allegedly rammed the car he was chasing on McDougall Street, then continued to chase the vehicle, and rammed it again on the corner of Hotham and Canterbury Street.

This impact was on the side that the child was sitting; it caused the impacted vehicle to lose control and crash into a parked vehicle.

Police attended moments later and the 20-year-old was arrested.

He was taken to Casino Police Station where he was charged with several offences.

Nobody was injured during this incident.
