Don't ignore your body's warning signs
THE hospital is a place you want to avoid as much as possible.
There are things that happen outside of your control that may cause you to be admitted to hospital, but what about the things you can control? Which behaviours and habits do you have that, if you really think about it, may eventually lead to a health crisis?
If something isn't right, your body has warning signals such as pain, fatigue, bowel and bladder habits, how you feel after eating a meal and so on.
These signals are like that pesky light on your car dashboard that turns on when you are low on petrol.
You can either fix the issue by filling the car with fuel or you could have the light disabled. One of these choices will lead to a crisis and one to a good outcome.
How many people do you know who do a similar thing with their body? Ignoring the signals from your body is a quick path to a health crisis.
Considering that only a small percentage of your nervous system is sensory, it is entirely possible to have dysfunction long before you are aware of an issue. This means that waiting for a "warning sign" before making a lifestyle change is not your best option.
Take care of your body and it will take care of you - this is the best way to avoid a health crisis.
The earlier you start taking care of yourself, the better. Take care of your body by considering what you put into it. High-quality natural foods like fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, meat, poultry and water are essential to a healthy diet.

Exercise daily, stand up and move as often as possible during the day and move your neck and spine gently in all directions at least once a day. Take care of yourself before a crisis.
Getting enough movement in the day is one thing, making sure you can move optimally is another.
