Donations sought for quake victims

FORMER Casino woman Susan Parish has set up a disaster relief fund to help victims of the recent earthquake in Padang, Sumatra.

Ms Parish, who spent time in Indonesia with the Lions Youth Exchange program, hopes to raise $25,000.

She now lives in Port Macquarie, but maintains close connections with Indonesia.

Her best friend and business partner Meeng comes from Padang and returned home to help rescue efforts.

Ms Parish said all funds would be sent to those devastated by the earthquake.
