A NEW $10,000 grant will ensure Lismore's Community in the Kitchen program helps more marginalised young people gain employment.

The Commonwealth Bank awarded YWCA NSW, which runs the program, with a large cheque at the Pulse Cafe today.

The program places disadvantaged or at-risk young people into training in the hospitality industry and the money will go towards kitchen resources, transport and counselling.
