Domestic Violence dispute sees Casino man tasered

AN 18-year-old man from Casino was tasered during his arrest for domestic violence and assaulting police charges on Saturday afternoon.

Police were in Williams Street when they heard arguing from a house.

They investigated and when they tried to speak to the person of interest a scuffle broke out, and a police officer punched in the head.

The police needed to taser the man once to subdue him.

An ambulance was called and found the man to be unharmed.

He was conditionally bailed and is due to appear in court on December 16.
