Dolphin award entries open

Entries for the 2010 Dolphin awards close on May 31, so get your entries in now.

There are 22 categories with everything from children’s music to electronica, and for the first time this year there is a category for garage/indie rock.

For full details of the categories and the criteria, check out the website www.nceia.org.au

But in order to enter you need to contact NCEIA (North Coast Entertainment Industry Association) president Gary Pinkerton, either by emailing him on gary@nceia.org.au or dropping in to see him at Lismore Jewel Centre in Molesworth Street. He will give you a form to fill in to submit with your CD, clearly identifying which category or categories you wish to enter.

For non NCEIA members, there is a fee of $25 for each category that you wish to enter, and for members it is $15 per category.

Payments can be made by cash, cheque or money order to Gary in person, or by posting it to PO Box 6275, South Lismore.

The NCEIA Dolphin Awards are open to all original recording artists, songwriters, graphic artists and video producers living in the (02) 66 telephone area. Past winners for album of the year include Jodi Martin, Sara Tindley and Marshall & The Fro.
