Dog squad called to school as threats cause lockdown

A SYDNEY school is in lockdown after threats were made via the CrimeStoppers reporting line this morning.

Officers from the dog squad were called to the Cambridge Park school about 9am.

Police have released few details about the operation but the threats are believed to be linked to an incident involving a gun at the school last week.

A police spokesperson said officers did not believe students and staff were at risk but they were "carefully monitoring people entering and exiting the school".
