Do you know a pothole celebrating a birthday?

Northern Rivers residents are no strangers to creative grassroot solutions to potholes.

Evidently, elusive renegade road artist 'Roa Dart' is back after a two year hiatus spray-painting artistic flourishes on potholes to highlight our flood-damaged and dangerous local roads for safety.

His work has been spotted recently in North Lismore and outside Mt Burrell Store.

However, residents in Jackson, Mississippi have gone one step further.

Last week. residents of one Mississippi town threw a birthday party for a pothole almost 5-feet-wide to get local officials' attention about fixing the road hazard, WAPT.com reported.

After the story aired, council workers came out to fill the pothole.

WJTV.com reported that resident Eddie Prosser came up with the idea because the pothole is in a spot where it can easily be an obstacle for a passing car.
