Discuss Pacific Hwy upgrade

TWO public meetings will be held to discuss the Pacific Highway's Tintenbar to Ewingsdale upgrade at Bangalow A&I Hall on Monday April 23.

The sessions will give the community the opportunity to meet the project team and will focus on road design and water quality management.

The first meeting starts at noon, and the second at 5.30pm.

Meanwhile another notorious stretch of the highway is one step closer to getting a much needed makeover.

Federal Infrastructure Minister Anthony Albanese announced yesterday the design contracts for the Woolgoolga to Glenugie upgrade, north of Coffs Harbour, had been awarded to engineering consultants Parsons Brinckerhoff and ARUP.
