Diesel spill on Richmond Hill

POLICE and NSW Fire and Rescue are on the scene of a suspected diesel spill on Richmond Hill Rd at Richmond Hill.

A member of the public reported the spill to police at about 9.20 am and when they arrived on the scene they found what appeared to be diesel on the road that officers think may have come from a dump truck.

Police are ensuring the safety of motorists on the road while fire fighters clean up the spill.

Lismore City Council workers are on the way to Richmond Hill Rd to erect signs to warn motorists of the situation.
