Did this weatherman fart during live broadcast?

AN AWARD-WINNING weatherman has become an unfortunate viral sensation after appearing to bend over and fart during a live TV broadcast.

Forecasting a "fairly quiet weekend", Chris Dunn from Alabama-based broadcaster WPMI was halfway through reading out the temperatures when he paused between cities "Pensacola" and "Destin" to seemingly let one rip.

A Snapchat video of the alleged incident, titled "Weatherman Forecasts a Fart", has been viewed more than 600,000 times after being posted to Reddit on Wednesday, where it attracted more than 1100 comments.

"That was a forced out fart," wrote Reddit user mechapoitier. "That was no attempt to conceal. That guy aimed and fired." User Donk3ynut5 pointed out that he "even stopped speaking mid sentence to add the extra force".

"You're not kidding he literally aimed his ass out of camera view," The_Electrician wrote. "He was probably thinking the camera couldn't hear his fart. This is incredible."

Others were not convinced, however, arguing that he was bending over so Destin was visible on the map.

"This is 100 per cent fake and he was just doing a silly little skootch to show Destin on the map," Frebdignabliaq wrote. "The fart noise was supplied by someone else."

User RelatableRetard9 agreed, describing it as "100 per cent not a real fart". "You're 100 per cent sure?" asked EZ-Pizza.

"Were you observing his butthole when this happened? Revealing the temperature in Destin explains that awkward lean he did, but it doesn't explain the fart sound.

"It could've been his shoe, it could've been added in post ... or it could've been an actual fart that slipped out when he did that lean. We'll never know ... at least not until we see more evidence."
