Glory of dawn at Flat Rock captured for Photo of the Day

DI LYMBURY was a real crowd favourite in yesterday's Photo of the Day poll, pulling in half the vote by herself in a field of six outstanding images.

Di's sunrise shot, taken at Flat Rock on Saturday, came in nearly 20 points ahead of her nearest rival, a beautiful black and white shot of a pelican and some seagulls on the edge of Ballina's Fawcett Park, taken by Mark Ross.

Mark's image achieved a strong 31% of the vote.

Photo of the Day celebrates the beauty of the Northern Rivers and the talent of its people.

As well as appearing here, it is published on Page 2 of the newspaper and appears as the cover image on our Facebook page.

To contribute to Photo of the Day, share an image to our Facebook page or vote in the poll at the bottom of this page before noon.

We have some real stunners in contention for tomorrow's Photo of the Day.

Check out them out and vote for your favourite before the poll closes at noon.
