Developer tests the air at Evans

PETER LYNCH, the man behind the proposed Evans Head air park development, was soaking up the atmosphere.

His proposal incorporates a residential development where aircraft owners can garage their planes like cars and fly in or out at their leasure.

“Everyone is talking about preserving this historic airstrip. They want to see it as an active aerodrome and we believe the air park is a way to achieve that.”
