Departure a big loss for little school

IT WILL be a sad moment at 3pm today when the staff and students of Bexhill Public School farewell the school’s administration manager of 26 years, Dianne Virtue.

“I will miss everything here at Bexhill,” a teary Mrs Virtue said yesterday.

“My kids went to school here too and they’re now in their 30s.”

School librarian Melinda Hill said it would be a big loss for the little school.

“Dianne is such a valued member of staff,” she said.

“She is so knowledgeable of the school and the community and so supportive of the staff and children.”

School vice-captain Zoe McAnelly agreed it was a sad day for the students.

“She has supported us all individually in her special way,” Zoe said.
