First image from Mt Warning series voted Photo of the Day

DEAN Pagotto grabbed some fantastic shots from Mt Warning recently, which will feature in Photo of the Day polls over the coming days.

This particular shot, showing the caldera flooded by mist, was one of 10 images up for consideration by Photo of the Day voters yesterday and led the voting with 31% of poll participants choosing it as their favourite.

Dean's image came in seven points ahead of an excellent shot by Scott Rolph of Early Bird Photography, who shared a terrific picture of a dolphin leaping from the water at Ballina and picked up 24% of the vote.

As well as appearing here, it is published on Page 2 of the newspaper and appears as the cover image on our Facebook page.

For today's poll we have four images from two photographers.

We have the next image in Dean Pagotto's Mt Warning series, along with a lovely shot of Tooloom Falls and two fantastic beach shots from Yamba, taken by Shawna Palin.

Have a look and choose your favourites.

Voting closes at noon.
