Beckhams unite amid divorce claims

DAVID and Victoria Beckham have "vowed to spend more time together" after fake divorce claims.

Yesterday the couple hit back at reports on social media that a divorce was imminent.

Spokespeople for the couple slammed rumours, labelling wild social media speculation "nonsense" and a "crock of s**t", reports The Sun.

Now The Sunday Mirror has claimed the superstars will be spending more time together in the wake of the furore.

The friend said: "David and Victoria won't let this rock them and they will be spending more time together.

"It's unlikely they will ever split - they are a very strong unit. They have weathered far worse storms."

After Victoria posted a gushing message to her husband saying she "loves and misses" him, representatives said the unfounded gossip was "bizarre" and "fake".

The former Spice Girl wrote next to the snap on Instagram: "Morning cuddles x So much love. We love and miss u @davidbeckham."

A spokeswoman for the couple said: "There is no statement due, no divorce, and a lot of Chinese whispers and fake social media news."

"This is all very bizarre and an embarrassing waste of time."

A spokesman added: "It's a crock of s**t."

It came after bookmakers released a statement announcing they had suspended betting on the couple splitting, fuelling the speculation even further.

A spokesman Paddy Power said: "We've decided to suspend betting on the separation between Posh and Becks."

Meanwhile the father of a woman linked to David Beckham by wild online gossip blasted the claims as "nonsense".

He told The Sun on Sunday: "My daughter has never even met him. End of story."
