Dandyman brings comedy and circus to Goonellabah

DANDYMAN Circus and Comedy of the Absurd is the show that Northern Rivers artist Daniel Oldaker brings to Lismore.

The artist said the solo show is a physical comedy and acrobatics family-friendly gig he has been touring around the area.

"It's the show I have done recently in Brunswick Heads at the Brunswick Picture House, in Nimbin at the School of Arts, in Byron Bay and around the world," he said.

"The story of these show is about waiting at an airport, which I've done a lot of, and weaves into a little journey of not being able to leave the airport.

"I just came back from Korea where we presented this who and where it won an award a few years ago at a Comedy and Arts festival.

"This show is always different, althought it's pretty locked it as I've done it for years, I always make it different and fresh for the audience and also for myself."

Daniel Oldaker trained physical theatre in France and London under Philippe Gaulier, the master-clown who trained British comedian Sacha Baron Cohen.

He has been touring the world presenting one man, duo and group physical comedy shows for the past 20 years.
