Dance concerts will benefit hall

THE Woodburn Memorial Hall will benefit from the 2012 annual concerts of local dance schools.

The parents of children attending the Pam Bellingham School of Dance decided to donate the entire proceeds from their concert, totalling $1120, to the hall.

A raffle held at the Just Dance! concert also raised $436.

Hall Committee president Kevin Kilroy said the committee appreciated the donations.

He said he was delighted to see that the community valued the hall.

He said the hall committee would discuss at its next meeting how the funds would be used.

He mentioned larger and more efficient fans had been put forward as a suggestion.
