Curly cousins' kids concert on its way

THE Curly Cousins, a trio of local performers and mothers, will present a 50-minute children's concert celebrating the power of music to inspire and delight, in Goonellabah on Thursday, October 30.

With rich harmonies, exotic instruments and interactive movement, The Curly Cousins explore the sounds and stories of a day in their life as they venture into the world around them.

Coco, Sunshine and Bea (also known as Mandy Morris, Rochelle Wright and Laurel Cohn) have a combined wealth of experience as performers and recording artists in various bands and theatre companies over the past 20 years, and have worked in the early childhood music sector as teachers and performers since 2002.

“With our concert we share our love of music, using instruments from a range of countries, and incorporating original material as well as some old favourites,” said Laurel.

The concert will be held at the YWCA centre, 101A Rous Road, at 10am.

Entry costs $5 per child. For bookings and enquiries, call Laurel on 6680 3411 or email laurelcohn@gmail.com
