CUDGEN hit back from a loss to Marist Brothers on Saturday with a win over Tweed rivals Pottsville in a deferred FNC LJ Hooker League cricket match on Sunday.

Cudgen made 4-246 (cc) from its 40 overs at Seabreeze Oval and dismissed the home team for 217.

Alec Williams (83 not out) and Travis Burns (77 and 3-35) led the way for the defending premiers.
