Crash causes traffic delays

UPDATE 10.10am: All lanes of the Pacific Highway have reopened at McLeods Shoot following a car and motorcycle crash near Coolamon Scenic Drive this morning.

Motorists are advised to continue to allow additional travel time as heavy traffic begins to ease in the area.

 

A crash involving a car and a motorcycle is causing traffic delays on the Pacific Highway at McLeods Shoot.

The smash occurred at about 6am near Coolamon Scenic Dr, closing both lanes of the highway.

The motorcyclist was taken to Tweed Heads hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Police from the North Coast crash investigation unit are at the scene and one lane of the highway is open in both directions.

Motorists travelling along the Pacific Highway are advised to allow extra travel time.
