Court hearing for former Inspector delayed

ACCUSED party-drug cop Shane Diehm has had his Sydney hearing delayed yet again.

The former Tweed-Byron Inspector, who allegedly lied to the Police Integrity Commission about a drug-fuelled party attended by several high-ranking officers, was due to front court on Monday but the case was adjourned.

A two-day hearing, during which Mr Diehm denied lying to the PIC about video footage of his colleagues consuming "hash cookies" and pills, was held in Sydney earlier this year.

Magistrate Skinner will hand down her decision on July 23.
