Budding playwrights: Here's your chance

KYOGLE'S Village Hall Players are proud to announce their biennial Playwrights' Competition has opened for entries.

Plays will be accepted from playwrights who are Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia, and who live in the Ballina, Byron, Clarence Valley, Kyogle, Lismore, Richmond Valley or Tweed Valley local government areas.

The competition calls for previously unpublished and unproduced one or two-act stage plays. There are two main sections available to entrants - open and under 18. Each of these sections has both one-act and two- act sub-sections.

Deadline for entries is 5pm on November 30.
