Coles customers donate $12,300 to Westpac chopper

The Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter has more than 12,000 reasons to say thanks to Coles supermarkets who recently supported the Service’s annual Christmas Appeal.

The group of 15 stores from the Tweed to Grafton lent their support by holding special in-store fundraisers during the month of November which raised over $12,300.

Coles Regional Manager Jason Browning and his team of store managers proudly presented a cheque to the helicopter today.

Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter Fundraising Manager Zeke Huish said ‘We can’t thank Coles and their customers enough for helping to make this donation possible.’

“Every donation towards our Christmas Appeal is so vital and will help us to save lives during the busy festive season ahead,” he said.
