Woman busted with drugs, weapons in Lismore
A CAR search in East Lismore yesterday uncovered Ice, Zanax, morphine, cash and weapons.
A 43-year-old woman has been charged with serious drug offences after police from the Richmond Target Action Group stopped a vehicle near Nielson Street, East Lismore about 1.50pm yesterday.
During the search it is alleged police located 7.6grams of crystal methamphetamine (Ice), 1 gram of crushed zanax, 1.2 grams of morphine, 3 capsules of morphine, 3 knives, 1 axe, 30 x .22 long rounds of ammunition and $3980 in Australian currency.
The woman was arrested and conveyed to Lismore Police Station where she was charged with supplying a prohibited drug, two counts of possessing a prohibited drug, possessing a prescribed restricted substance, dealing with the proceeds of crime, possessing ammunition, and custody of a knife.
She was refused bail to attend Lismore Local Court today.
