Cleo stud drops daks, cops fine

A NIGHT out drinking “light beers” at a popular Warwick drinking hole led to a Warwick Magistrates Court summons for our 2010 Cleo Bachelor of the Year Wildcard nominee who was caught with his pants down.

In a written statement to the Warwick Magistrates Court, police stated Joel Robin Farrell participated in an intentional “penile urinational display” in front of a licensed CBD premises.

The 21-year-old pleaded guilty to public urination after he was captured on CCTV cameras talking on his mobile phone as he proceeded to unzip his pants and urinate while walking and talking.

Warwick Police said he made no attempt to cover himself while he ran through a crowd of people and jumped a couple of bushes.

He did, however, manage to zip up his pants before re-entering the pub.

In a written submission to the Warwick Magistrates Court by Farrell, Magistrate Anne Thacker read the behaviour “was out of character”.

When questioned about his behaviour by police, Farrell stated he had consumed “light beer”.

It was Farrell’s first offence. He was fined $150 and no conviction was recorded.
