CHRIS Hosie's incredible image of Killen Falls near Tintenbar took the second-highest vote in an exceptionally tight poll on Friday.

Chris's image took a total 20% of the vote, just behind Lynette Kee's birdwing butterfly, which received 24% and just ahead of Cindy Chivers' excellent frog photo.

Photo of the Day celebrates the beauty of the Northern Rivers and the talent of the region's photographers.
