Children’s show brings snow
PREPARE to step into a world of freezing fun and wonder, when Snow Queen's Aussie Freezing Show visits Ballina in January.
Snow Queen's Aussie Freezing Show is an interactive show with lots of singing, dancing and special characters that'll enchant children.
The smallest in the audience are encouraged to help their favourite snow queen recover her lost magic wand, so that they can all dance in falling snow.
There's chaos in Snow Land after the mischievous Evil Jester has run away with the magic wand.
Even detective Super Winston fails to save the day and has to call for lots of help from Bushman Bob, Funny Bunny, Captain Carrot, Solly the Snowman and all the boys and girls in the audience.
Children (and their carers) sing along with the Snow Queen, boo the Evil Jester, play funny frosty games, plus they get to learn some icy dance routines and magic spells as characters like Bushman Bob and the Snow Girls leap to life in flashy costumes, accompanied by catchy music and fun, interactive activities.
A special pre-show Frozen sing-along by The Presenters is a glowing tribute to the film that took the world by storm and features the hit songs For the First Time in Forever, Do You Want to Build a Snowman and, of course, the Oscar-winning Let it Go.
Show director Brian Laul said children really enjoyed the performances.
"There's nothing as exciting for children than to be singing and dancing with their favourite story book characters. It's almost like their dreams have come true," he said.
Program manager Christerine Laul said children really engaged with the performance.
"Children enjoy the high energy of the show and the fact that they can participate in the story most of the time", she said.
A Children's Hospital Toy Appeal, hospital visits to cheer up sick kids, drama workshops and lots of community fun all make up Snow Queen's Aussie Freezing Show's January school holidays tour of the Northern Rivers.
Presented by Youngstars2.com, the team behind The Wizard of Oz Show (that has completed more than 4000 successful shows around the world), this magical new show has been written especially for parents to enjoy with their children.
Audiences are encouraged to dresseup,, have fun and bring a toy or book for the toy appeal.
