Six people hospitalised after two-car crash

UPDATE 4.40PM: ALL six people - two adults and four children - involved in a two-car crash at Bangalow this afternoon have been transported to Lismore Base Hospital for further assessment.

An Ambulance spokesman confirmed three of the four children involved in the crash are being treated for seatbelt wounds to their necks, while one of the two adults reported to have chest pain following the accident.

ORIGINAL 4PM: EMERGENCY services are at the scene of a car crash in Bangalow.

A NSW Fire and Rescue spokesperson confirmed crews were currently attending the incident involving two vehicles at the intersection of Lismore Rd and Rifle Range Rd in Bangalow.

Two adults and four children are being assessed by ambulance officers at the scene.

Police have been called to assist with traffic control.
