AN IPSWICH mother accused of procuring young girls for prostitution is now facing an additional 58 charges.
The 30-year-old Collingwood Park woman was arrested on November 25 and originally charged with 28 counts of child prostitution and drug offences.
Yesterday Ipswich Magistrates Court was told the woman would now face 86 charges, including 27 counts of procuring an intellectually impaired person for prostitution.
The woman's defence asked for a seven-week adjournment to receive a full brief of evidence from the prosecution.
The woman's co accused, a 41-year-old man, has been charged with two counts of procuring prostitution, and one count each of producing dangerous drugs, possessing dangerous drugs, possessing things used in the commission of a crime and possessing utensils.
A third man, aged 39, has been charged with one count each of carnal knowledge of a child under 16, production of a dangerous drug, possession of dangerous drug, possession of property involved in a commission of a crime and possess a utensil.
Police charged the trio after several weeks of investigations.
The woman, a mother of two, was remanded in custody and her case will next be mentioned on March 7.
