The Channon cops hail storm all of its own

WHILE most of the Northern Rivers enjoyed a relatively sunny weekend, The Channon had a bit of its own special weather on Saturday afternoon.

The village was hit by a localised hail storm between 4pm and 4.30pm.

Pinchin Road residents Denise Cox and Jon Noble sent in these images of the storm, which clearly laid down a solid spread of ice around the village even as much of the rest of the region was basking in the early spring sun.

The forecast for the rest of the week across the region is for more sun today and tomorrow with a chance of showers later in the week.

Let us know if you had any special weather around your place over the weekend.
