Central Schools Touch Football State Finals

RECENTLY students from Woodenbong Central School travelled to Dubbo to participate in the Central Schools Touch Football State Finals.

Both girls and boys teams participated in the U16's competition. The girls won four games but lost their last, earning them a silver medal; while the boy's team was undefeated all day and finished with a gold medal.

In the Opens competition, the girls won three games, drew one and lost their last, earning third place. The boys once again were undefeated all day and took home another gold medal.

After a full-on two days of competition, many of the boys had to get up the following day and compete in the U16's rugby league competition; in which they remained undefeated, winning all their games and earning yet another gold medal.
