Celebrate 140 years with The Northern Star

WE ARE turning 140 on Friday, May 13, and want you to celebrate.

The Northern Star will publish a special 32-page feature looking back on the events and people that have made our region what it is today.

This nostalgic trip back in time will also look at some of the workers behind the scenes that have shaped the news or even been a guardian of this legacy for much of that long history.

The Northern Star is one of the oldest continuous businesses still in operation on the Northern Rivers.

It has covered everything from fires, floods and cyclones to royal visits.

Just about everyone has been in The Northern Star at some stage over those 140 years, or knows someone who has, while many of you have worked for the company over the years.

It has, and always will be, like being a part of one giant family, and we are honoured to be a part of our community and present an insight into life on the Northern Rivers.

This 32-page keepsake is not to be missed, so talk to your newsagent about setting one aside for you, as this edition is bound to be snapped up.
