CASINO resident Warren Young found the photo of a mystery so

CASINO resident Warren Young found the photo of a mystery soldier (left) in his late mother's belongings.

He is hoping someone may know who this man is.

His name is possibly Tom and he was writing to Emma and Jack about being in a hospital in Cairo, suffering damage to his eyes.

He had been fighting on 'the front' and the picture is dated 27.7.15.

Mr Young handed the photo to the Casino and District Historical Society in the hope it could shed some light on the mystery soldier.

"Warren's mother's name was Ethel Beatrice Young (nee Vidler) and her dad was Alf Vidler," the museum's Bill Bartier said.

If you recognise the man in the photo, or may know who the recipients of the postcard are, you can contact Bill on 6662 2152.
