Casino Golf Club Pro Am ends with three way tie

THE winner's purse was shared three ways after the $10,000 Casino Golf Club Pro Am on Monday.

Tim Hart, playing out of the Gold Coast, and the current leader in the Order of Merit on the Sunshine Swing Tour, returned a four under par 66 around the par 70 lay out, which matched the scores of Brisbane-based Chris Wood, and a previous Casino Pro Am winner Brett Rankin, also from Brisbane.

In the amateur section, it turned out to be a good day out for the Deans, with husband Jim (16) taking out the men's division with 41pts, while wife, Linda, off 16, not to be outdone, took out the ladies with 38pts.

After a count back on 37pts, Terry Oaten (19) took out the runner up prize for the Men, from Trevor Wood (12). The Ladies runner up was Howlong visitor, Tina Hando(7) with 36pts, while Sue Leeson (16) was in third place on 33pts.

Andy Shaw took out the sponsors section from Terry Llewellyn, both on 39pts.
