Green & Gold Glass, Evans Head. Casey Eveleigh

CASEY Eveleigh blitzed yesterday's Photo of the Day poll, securing 52% of the vote with this beautiful, glassy "green and gold" wave taken at Evans Head.

The poll ended up being a two-way race between Casey's photo and a very courageous close-up portrait of a red belly black snake, taken by Peter Sampson, which secured 35% of the vote.

Photo of the Day celebrates the beauty of the Northern Rivers and the talent of the region's photographers.

As well as appearing here, it is published on page 2 of our print edition and appears as the cover image on our Facebook page.
