Car stolen after Lismore break-in

POLICE investigating a break-in at a Lismore home where offenders stole a car are appealing to the public for information.

Lismore police sergeant Matt Johnson said between 11.30pm yesterday and 4:20am this morning an unknown offender broke into a Jubilee St residence and stole property and a set of car keys.

Sgt Johnson said the offender then got into a Silver Subaru Liberty parked outside the residence and drove away.

Officers from the Richmond LAC were called to the residence to investigate and were unable to locate the stolen Subaru.

Sgt Johnson said specialist crime scene investigators were called to fingerprint the property and search for any further clues.
