Cannabis crop worth more than $6.75m found at property
THE discovery of a cannabis crop worth more than $6.75 million in country NSW has landed three men in court.
Drug Squad detectives allege 277 mature plants and about 200kg of drying cannabis was found on a remote property about 70km south of Forbes late Monday.
A loaded .22 rifle was also seized.
Three men aged 20, 40 and 49 were arrested and charged with drug supply offences.
They were remanded in custody on Tuesday.
Since the beginning of the 2012-2013 cannabis harvesting season, police have stopped more than $25 million worth of the drug from hitting NSW streets.
