TWO former students from Richmond River High School are organising a reunion of students who were part of the school’s 1977 intake.

Cheryl Durheim (nee Hill) and Sharon Pratten (nee Hunter) are looking for students from that intake year, along with former teachers and staff.

Mrs Durheim said that people who know they were, or feel that they know someone who was part of that intake, should contact either Mrs Pratten or herself.

“That contact can be by email to reunion2010@westnet.com.au or by visiting our blog site at www.rrhsreunion2010.blogspot.com,” she said.

“We currently have a list of names on the blog site and we’re hoping that former students will read the list and alert others former students, asking them to contact us.

“Maybe we’ve missed someone’s name and they can contact us about that too.”

The reunion will be held on the October long weekend, beginning with a get- together at the Goonellabah Tavern on Friday, October 1, at 7pm.

Saturday night sees dinner at the Italo-Australian Sports-Recreation Club (with pre-sold tickets) before Sunday’s family BYO barbecue day at Rous Public School.
