Calling for Kyogle Australia Day nominations

IN LESS than 100 days the Kyogle Shire will be celebrating Australia Day once again.

This is a time when we all gather to express our thanks for living in the land of the free and to salute those in our community who have been recognised by their peers to have demonstrated attributes that will stand by them in their future.

The Kyogle Australia Day committee are once again asking members of the community to nominate those whom they feel are worthy of recognition for their endeavours.

This can be in the areas of sport, academia, community life or social welfare.

Nomination forms are available from various areas around the Kyogle shire including:

Kyogle Council Chambers

Kyogle Library

Gateway Office Supplies

Gateway Real Estate

Commonwealth Bank

You may also download the nomination form by going to the council's website and following the links. Nominations close Wednesday, November 30.

The committee encourages you to give this matter your consideration.

There are many wonderful people out there in the community who are achieving amazing things and who deserve to be recognised on this special day.

Council's website is www.kyogle.nsw.gov. au. If you have any questions, you can phone them on 66321611.
